About Bait

Mediterranean food with a  twist

Bait Restaurant creates Mediterranean food with a fusion of Lebanese and Middle Eastern culinary styles and flavours for its à la carte menu. The kitchen team create their own style of some European classics using fine Australian produce.

The restaurant is on 2 floors on the famous Bay Street in Brighton-Le-Sands. Designed by Uma Interiors it provides a comfortable, energising environment for all ages and family groups. We hope friend groups, families and couples find Bait a restaurant they can call their favourite place to eat and socialise.

Our dishes are twists on family favourites and we only use the freshest market produce. Siyadiyeh Paella, Seafood a la plancha,  Truffle Fries, Wagyu Beef with Café de Paris sauce, Pain Perdu and Apple Cinnamon Esmaliya are all menu favourites that illustrate the fusion of culinary influences.

Book a table for your group of besties or a family gathering or have a romantic night out. Whatever the occasion our friendly staff will make sure you have a great time. We operate under a BYO trading provisions so bring your favourite wines with you.

The name Bait is a bit of a pronunciation twist on the Arabic word Bayt that means house.  If you mix the words it infers Fish House!
